A number of different sample setups can be accessed at XFEL which include: GVDN, LCP jet, Electrospray jet, static mounting and goniometer mounting all which have their pros and cons. Currently, we are equipped to test the LCP jet ‘in house’ and this will soon be available for testing at the Australian synchrotron. We are also able to manufacture silicon chips for static mounting systems. We have training in testing GVDN systems and making of nozzles which is critical for XFEL experiments.
