Serial femtosecond crystallography has been developed as a new method for solving protein structures of sub-micron sized crystal sizes and below. With the combination of XFEL fast pulse regime we are able to collect data so that we can capture biological reactions with in the picosecond range. However, developments in the sample delivery system is still an active area of research and methods for delivering nano sized crystals into the beam are still in their infancy. We are part of a team aiming to develop more accurate crystal delivery systems to ensure optimal crystal hits and reduced sample consumption. As a result we have active collaborations with both International and National groups and offer the latest sample setups for data collection.
